MaXDila Dublin

The story

It's 2026. You walk out of Cloverhill prison with a plastic bag and €150. Loan shark Big Dessie says you owe him €500, at 10% interest a day. You have 30 days to buy low, sell high and build a fortune between Ballymun, the North Inner City, Cork, Limerick, Galway, Dundalk, Drogheda and Wicklow — while the Gardaí, rival crews and the seagulls of O'Connell Street try to stop you.

History

MaXDila was a cult Polish freeware game released in 2000 by Alpha Software Development, inspired by the classic Drug Wars (1984) and Dope Wars. A generation of players spent school computer lessons trading around Silesia. MaXDila Dublin is a fan remake 26 years later: same simple loop, new map of Ireland, crypto, drones, a casino, real Irish crime history from the 1980s to today, and plenty of Irish craic.

How to play — rules

• You have 30 days. Your score is net worth: cash + bank + Bitcoin minus debt.
• Buy goods in the Market, sell them in another town for more. Prices change every day.
• Travelling costs money and takes a day. Risky towns bring more Gardaí and gangs.
• Every sale raises police heat. Lay low for a day to cool off.
• Big Dessie's debt grows 10% a day — pay it back early. Above €3,000 he sends the heavies.
• Buy upgrades: Leap card, Deliveroo bag, burner phone with VPN, stab vest, a crew member, a car.
• Heal at the clinic. At 0% health the game ends.
• Try five slot machines in Paddy's Lucky Arcade — but the house always wins.
• Sign in to save your score to the public Dublin leaderboard and ask the AI advisor for tips.
